ABOUT THE OWNER

If there's one thing people quickly learn about me, it's that I love cheese, wine and bringing people together over great food. After more than 16 years working in weddings and hospitality, I wanted to create something a little different from the usual catering options. I loved the idea of taking the relaxed, sociable feel of sharing a cheese board with friends and turning it into an experience guests could enjoy at weddings, parties and special events.

That's how La Carte was born. French for "the menu", it's also a playful nod to the grazing cart itself and my love of French food, wine and culture. La Carte is designed to be fun, interactive and a real talking point, giving guests the chance to create their own mini grazing boards from a selection of cheeses, charcuterie and accompaniments.

It's everything I love about food and hospitality rolled into one: great produce, beautiful presentation and a unique way for people to gather, chat and enjoy good food.
